The article presents the results of the implementation of the Integrated Territorial Development Program (IDT), aimed at creating a comfortable and balanced urban environment. This article analyzes the results of this program in terms of the reorganization of the territory of non-residential buildings and the development of the undeveloped territory of the city of Moscow by the end of 2024 and the further application prospects of the IDT mechanism, and also examines the attractiveness of IDT projects for the city, investors and citizens. By the end of 2024, 82 IDT projects with a total area of 1,083 hectares with a planned development of about 22.2 million square meters of real estate are under implementation within the borders of Moscow. Projects’ implementation terms range from 3 years (landscaping projects that do not involve residential and public-business development) to 26 years. Each IDT project is developed taking into account the needs of individual districts, respecting the interests of residents, developers and the city. The implementation of IDT projects is mutually beneficial both for the city, which covers the needs of individual districts and receives new growth points, and for investors. The Moscow Government provide support to implement IDT projects. The projects’ economic feasibility and the needs of individual districts are taken into account. The number of integrated development projects is steadily growing, as is their urban development potential, which is why there are expected to be reorganized an increasing number of built-up and undeveloped territories of Moscow. New comfortable modern projects, points of attraction and growth zones are estimated to appear.
