The article examines the relationship between the development of the education system and the requirements of the modern knowledge economy, determined by rapid technological changes and globalization. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the readiness of educational institutions to train specialists who meet the requirements of the labor market, in conditions of constant updating of knowledge and skills. The author focuses on the importance of transforming pedagogical approaches, introducing innovative learning technologies and strengthening interaction between educational institutions and employers. The challenges associated with the formation of 21st century skills in students, such as critical thinking, creativity, teamwork and digital literacy, are also considered. At the end of the article, recommendations are offered to improve the adaptability of the educational system to the dynamically changing demands of the economy.
