One of the aspects of project management that has a primary impact on its results is the competent formation of a team. A good project team is an organized group of specialists who are able to competently integrate and implement certain tasks. №t only the qualifications of each member are of great importance, but also the synergy in the team, the ability to listen and empathize, as well as the successful combination of constructive roles and tasks of team members. The project team influences the reliability of the product being developed. A managed team is better able to spread tasks, exchange ideas, and discover optimal solutions to achieve goals. At the same time, an effective team is able to quickly adapt to changes, develop a project strategy and make the necessary modifications for the success of the project. Based on the above, it can be argued that a good project team is of great importance for a high-quality and successful completion of the project. The article will examine the issue of forming a productive and successful project team, as well as solving assignment problems based on which the design of the mathematical support of the information system is carried out. This information system should be a plug-in software module to simplify the work of the project manager. The developed software allows you to implement several stages of the team composition cycle: determining the functions of project participants, entering applicants for participation in the project into the database, testing agents, forming the optimal team composition for №n-functional and functional roles, optimizing labor costs and payroll using the simplex method.
