The article examines the impact of car characteristics on their cost, with an emphasis on the premium segment. A comparative analysis was carried out using linear regression models and the principal component method, as well as the Wald method for selecting the optimal model. As a result of the research, the authors identify the key factors influencing the price of cars and provide recommendations for participants in the automotive market. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the findings to assess the fair value of cars and predict market trends.
