The existing system of cadastres and registers containing information on real estate in Russia is one of the key foundations (institutions) of the land resources management system. In the article, the authors, in the context of improving the mechanism of information support for land resources management, consider the possibility of integrating information from the FGIS SKDF and the FGIS EDS NSPD in order to form a single information space. The accumulated unique information on road industry objects can become the next element in the development of the infrastructure of spatial information aggregated in a single platform of information on space and territories. At the same time, individual services of the FGIS EDS NSPD based on the SKDF data can be implemented. In this vein, the FGIS EDS NSPD will allow combining current and open spatial data from many disparate federal and regional information systems, and will ensure their availability in a single window mode for government agencies, citizens and businesses. The use of the FGIS ECP NSPD will increase the efficiency of land use, will allow for a comprehensive approach to issues of territorial planning and spatial development, design and construction of facilities, will simplify the processes of collecting data for making management decisions, and will ensure a high level of transparency and trust in financial documentation. The placement of the backbone road network as part of a single resource on real estate will allow for new analytical studies to be conducted within the framework of a combination of territorial development and territory planning, development of tourism activities, identification of favorable investment sites, formation of logistics and multifunctional zones, and placement of service facilities. The direction of forming specialized services on the platform, offering investment sites within the framework of federal highway management facilities, is also worthy of interest.
