The article considers the reasons for the impossibility of modeling the entire biosphere of the Earth. The example of the creation of the American scientists model the biosphere, which they called «Biosphere 2». Also described in detail the problem of modeling the global water cycle, the cycle of carbon dioxide CO2, and modeling all climatic zones on the earth’s surface. In conclusion describes the results of this expensive experiment.
