This article examines the features of the use of cultural heritage sites in the tourism sector on the example of the Krasnodar Territory. The authors analyze the importance of tourist resources, which include various objects from the list of cultural heritage of the Krasnodar Territory: monuments, ensembles, places of interest, objects of archaeological heritage. The importance of attracting tourists' attention to these sites, their region, as well as assistance in recuperating and meeting the spiritual needs of vacationers is considered. Special attention is paid to the uniqueness of tourist resources, which contributes to the creation of interest among tourists. So, in order to preserve and attract tourists to cultural heritage sites, the possibilities of creating digital twins are being considered, which give the objects greater fame. The analysis of the main characteristics of tourist resources, such as attractiveness, integrity, capacity and reliability, helps to build a successful tourism industry in the region.
