PECULIARITIES OF STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL TERRITORIAL SYSTEMS

Abstract (English):
Based on the analysis of existing studies of foreign and domestic scientists concerning strategic planning, the article attempts to substantiate the necessity of changing the approach to strategic planning of rural territorial systems development. It is offered to lay in a basis of the given process a principle of collective participation with attraction to working out of the purposes of stable development of local community which role in the conditions of transition to strategy of stable development gets the increasing importance. Considering the interests of the local community and its involvement in the process of working out the strategy of development of the territorial system of which it is a part, will allow them to determine their future and to solve those problems which are the most significant for the certain territory.
