The article presents the analysis of management for rural cooperation development in the field for processing and marketing of agricultural products in the regions where cooperation occurs successfully. The material is prepared by the author using the data of regional statistics and the results of a study conducted by herself in 2017 on the basis of data taken from the regional agricultural administrative bodies and public data sources. The author criticizes the recommendations on the elaboration of state programs of development of agricultural cooperation in regions of the Russian Federation, adopted in March 2017 by the Committee for the basic direction and strategic development of the Russian Federation named "Small business and support of individual business initiative". The author studies the experience of support of cooperation in the regions of the Russian Federation: Lipetsk, Ulyanovsk, Orel regions. The analysis allowed the author to make generalizations, giving an idea of what factors are important in the establishment of a regional cooperative system.
