Retrospective analysis of agricultural performance of all categories within the Russian Federation's AIC structure

Abstract:
The article presents the results of identifying the structural features of the activities of categories of rural farms depending on the type of products produced, which is the purpose of scientific research. The object of the research is the activities of various participants in the agricultural market, the subject is the system of relations in the field of forming the structure of yields and livestock in the agricultural sector. The research methods used in the scientific article are: methods of structural analysis and time series analysis, methods of graphical data analysis (infographics). The place of research is the Russian Federation. The scientific novelty of the study can be considered the application of the method of graphical data analysis to characterize the identified imbalances in the dynamics of the structure of agricultural activity of all categories in the context of crop production and animal husbandry. As a result, the unevenness of crop yields and livestock dynamics has been established in the context of various categories of agricultural entities. The structure of the gross harvest of crop production in general is dominated by grain crops; At the same time, it should be noted a significant increase in the share of peasant (farm) farms (by 30 percentage points compared to 1992). Personal subsidiary farms dominate in the categories of «potatoes» and «outdoor and indoor vegetables», which is due to the lack of expressed commercial interest from large companies due to the higher labor intensity of the corresponding production processes. In animal husbandry, the leading positions are occupied by large agricultural organizations, which account for 50-90% of the total livestock; The exception is sheep farming, where the share of private farms accounts for slightly less than 50% of the total volume. As a result, the assessment of the cumulative change in the structure allowed us to rank the types of farms by the size of the share in individual types of crop and livestock production (in descending order): agricultural organizations, private farms, peasant (farmer) farms, and individual entrepreneurs.
