Насыщение отечественного рынка овощами закрытого грунта является одним из приоритетов социально-экономического развития страны и региона, так как одно из главных мест занимает увеличение эффективности аграрного сектора экономики, направленной на удовлетворение насущных потребностей человека в овощах круглогодично. Развитие отечественного рынка овощей зависит от категории хозяйств сельского хозяйства определяет цели, задачи и направления развития сельского хозяйства. Ощутимо развитие продовольственного рынка в  сфере тепличного овощеводства.  Это объясняется тем, что эта сфера становится все более привлекательной для инвесторов. В статье рассмотрена программа развития овощеводства защищенного грунта и его влияние на экономику субъекта.
